After 6 years +, my first bike breakdown.
The check engine light has been on for the last few days. Today, while riding to the IT office, the bike was jerking, as though the fuel injection valves were jammed. Being generous on the throttle didn't send fuel into the engine.
Bike finally died at Menara Felda and I pushed it to Caltex on Jalan Tun Razak. Called my usual bike shop but they said too far and asked me to try to ride the bike back slowly. I tried, but no way it will reach PJ. I don't think it can even reach my office.
Called a few other shops, lucky one shop offer to come today. Sim motor in Jalan Ipoh. They are also a Modenas dealer. Cost is rm80 to bring the motor to their workshop. Funny that they asked whether I was going to repair the bike in their workshop... Duh... Of course.
Anyway, I'm planning to try out the Modenas Pulsar RS200. Let's see if I can get a good deal on it.
